Hard-to-find "boot"

I've been searching on & off for an NOS or "correct" replacement for this rubber boot for the + battery cable at the junction on the driver's fender ('64 Starfire).
Pic 1 is my original, which didn't survive removal (but at least it was there and original). Pic 2 is a part that supposedly fits a '49 Buick, and I'm hoping will work on the S/F. It sure looks like it will.

Maybe this will help somebody...

Also, I've been looking for weeks for the #14 extruded "J" nuts that hold together the grill components on this car -- to no avail. But non-extruded ones are out there and I'm hoping those will work. After all, there's not a lot of torque required and they're essentially invisible anyway.

John you got a picture of the extruded J nut? If it's a common Oldsmobile part I'll see if there's any on my 65 Cutlass parts car.

Yes indeedy... Thanks, Mike -- As I said, they're for a #14 screw (there are lot out there for a 1/4"x20 bolt), and there's almost exactly 1/2" offset b/w "bend" edge and screw center.

Here's a few more:
