Good steer box rebuilder ?

Looking to have my steer box redone and wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations (or horror stories)? I have 1969 cutlass with 350 ....typical GM "A" body. I want "MY" box done, not a stock box out of a barrel.

thank you

I posed this question a while back but I'm not real good at forums and forum searches ...I'm better at cars and yours I remember, having same color helps my memory too.

thanks for the reply ....any first hand experience? not sure if I want to go fast ratio or not, I;m not pro-touring ....just out cruisin.

I've used Adco Steering several times and they have done good work and wll rebuild "your" box not someone's "exchanged" box. The last 2 times I had them convert my box from a variable ratio to a fixed, fast-ratio box and was very pleased with the feel of the car afterwards. They are a bit cheaper than Powersteering.com, but they don't do all the detailing stuff either. They are in Houston, TX.7136811446

Sorry, Cheven. I had mine done by them and they were great. He can do it stock as well, have it with the better ratio steers much better.

Thanks for the feedbacks, it helps with the decision process !! The internet can be a blessing and a curse since anyone can create a great webpage yet under-deliver where it counts.

Chip at Power Steering Services does a fantastic job. I've gotten several boxes from him. Stock or quick ratio is your call, but I prefer the quick ratio.
