Hi guys,
I have a 1970 cutlass with frame damage, I have the opportunity to buy another frame and need to know how I can identify it. I've been told it's from a '69 and will fit but I need to be sure before I fork out the $600 NZ to buy it.

Frame should inter-change, but the bolts for the sway bar brackets are one size smaller. Hole for the rear flex hose to axle should be 12 to 14 inches to the left of centre.

 

These numbers are on the drivers side at the rear, can I find any info from them?

My 1974 parts book only shows 1971 frame number '3990570' or '6263668' with notes to retro fit back to 1968 & 9 & 70. As in different sway bar brackets. I think '70 used 3/8 bolts and '68 & '69 used 5/16 bolts.
