frame reinforcement 70 442?

My question is, my book shows that 442 and w 31s had reinforcement bar of some sort and I was wondering if its necessary and where can i find them?

Mine were not on the car when I took it apart along with the rear sway bar (Both were replaced by ladder bars)

the braces are worthwhile to prevent flex between the frame rails and the crossmember holding the springs and upper control arms.

You can get factory original style,or there is a selection of aftermarket tubular style.I put them on everything.

The Edelbrock version is one of the cheapest of the tubular design, yet very nice.Mine are the Hotchkis.
