Is there any way to make those hard to come by plastic parts? You know,the white or colored kind that covers lights. There has got to be some hobby kit or something. Any ideas?

Most of the hobby kits I've seen are pretty pricey in themselves. What exactly are you looking for? A lot of us have parts and don't charge "ebay" prices.

When I was veeeeeeeery poor (not that I'm rich now) My 71 was missing the blue colored lenses for the dash lighting. Unwiling to pay massive amounts for such an insignificant (but noticable) piece, I went to the Dollar Store and bought a blue Tupperwarish pan, pulled out the scissors, and made my own covers. They worked great and nobody knew the difference (until now, of course).

I need the plastic covers that go around the headlights. They cover the turn signals and stuff.

It is the rh side plastic around the headlight for my 84 Delta 88 Royale.

I looked up the Super Casting Kit and you were right. The thing is pricey. $70. If getting it from Eastwood Co. it is $69.99. The refills are $24.oo.

I'm not sure why you think they're hard to come by. The wrecking yards here in the DC/Baltimore area have lots of 77-90 Olds B-bodies. I just picked up a complete header panel with grilles,marker lights, and headlights for an 84. My Caprice wagon is going to become a Custom Cruiser.
