Any North American made polygraphite bushings?

Just wondering if there are any North American made polygraphite bushings? I am looking for a complete set for my front control arms. I hear PST is good but made overseas?

I don't know where they do their manufacturing, but I'm happy with bushings from Energy Suspension. Regardless of who you choose, make sure you completely disassemble them and lube liberally.

I've used energy suspension too, and they are made here. Or I should say they were when I last needed them.

Anyone replaced their bushings with rubber OEM style like from MOOG? Just wondering how it feels/rides? Mushy?

I've used PST before. Their products are decent.

PST is the only maker of polygraphite bushings?

FWIW, I used the PST rubber bushings in my 64 98. I've heard polygraphite bushings wear quickly and begin to squeak. I never had that problem with the rubber bushings in my 64 98.

The black bushings Energy Suspensions makes are polygraphite, according to their tech department.

I have 2 sets of the black ES bushings, but they say 'polyurethane'. I don't recall seeing 'graphite' anywhere.

I believe that "polygraphite" is a trademark of PST. Supposedly they embed graphite into the polyurethane to prevent squeeks. I believe that Energy Suspension's products are pure polyurethane, no graphite. Doesn't bother me. As I posted above, disassemble completely and lube them liberally, and they won't squeek.

These are the two sets I picked up a while ago (b/c I still don't know if I have oval rear bottoms in the front). You b saying both of these have graphite in them, and are pretty much identical to PST's version?

Call Energy Suspensions tech department toll free (888) 913-6374. It will take less than 5 minutes, and you will find out yourself.

A very small investment for something that will be on your car for a long time, and they will tell you that the black bushings have graphite in them.

PS I'll bet you have oval bushings at the rear of your lower control arm (a-arm)

You guys might not have the same problem I did; however, when I ordered the kit from PST for my 64 98 there were a few bushings missing. This wasn't by mistake or ommission, but rather PST said they couldn't provide me with stabilizer bar link bushings and stabilizer bar bushings. I think I ended up buying those seperately from the auto parts store. Ultimately, I was pretty pleased with the stuff I got from PST.
