'73 Delta Front Spring Specs?

Just discovered my Left front spring is broken. In 4 pieces.
How the car seemed level, I don't know.

I looked for specs to know what I need to get to replace it, found 3 completely different sets of data, could find nothing in the CSM.

Anyone know what I should be looking for, for stock springs in a '73 Delta convertible with a smallblock and A/C?

Anyone have a set they could sell me and get to me fast (hard to drive without a spring)?

Thanks,

- Eric

Hi Eric
Since I know I have the rear springs I may have the front ones from the 1973 Olds 98 4 door with 455. They were probably stiffer than yours when new, but with age these may have sagged to be more what you need. Due to my lack of organization (I'll remember what that came off of....) can you measure the diameter of your good spring, and if possible count the coils? Then I'll get out between rain showers to see what I can dig up. If I've got it I can ship FedEx ground Monday or US Postal Tuesday. John

Thanks, John. I've been meaning to send you a note, but just got through 6 days of work and haven't had much free time.

The springs are 5 9/16" OD, 11/16" (0.6875") wire diameter, 10 coil.
Free height is a heck of a lot more than the spring is right now.

Let me know about that other stuff when you can, too...

Thanks,

- Eric
