I'm installing a pair of Moog 5379 springs. The two ends are almost identical but not quite. One end is slightly "flatter" than the other. WHich end goes up? And is it true that the "points" of bottom ends of both springs should point left, toward the driver's side?

 

The 'flatter' section of the spring goes on the axle saddle and the wide sections to the top. The upper pigtails both face to the left as indicated in the Assembly Manual. When installing these springs, also ensure you put new rubber isolators between the spring and upper mount ring.
