1968 442 Hood Not Closing

I didn’t see anything in the forums but I think this is a common problem. Rear of the hood doesn’t close all the way. After closing hood I have to push the rear corners down by hand the last 2 inches. Is that from tired springs or needing to rebuild the hinges? Greasing hasn’t seemed to help. Thanks for any input.

will give that a shot, thanks. The ‘68 hoods don’t open very high and that seems like it would make that problem worse.
