Oai hood

I’m about to install my oai hood. It’s a Thornton’s hood with a steel frame. My question is can I use the original hinges? I’ve looked through threads and I got different answers. Can someone with this same hood give me the answer I need. Thanks..

You can use your original hinges and springs. I have used Thornton hoods on my both of my last builds and they look and fit great.

x3. I used a Thornton hood with my original hinges and springs. Everything fit properly, the counterbalance of the hood is fine, and there are no apparent problems.
