1955 Oldsmobile 98 Holiday Coupe -Suspension

Hi all. My next big project is to figure out what is best to stabilize my '55. When driving, it often wants to pull right and almost jump lanes if we hit a bump. I am thinking of installing some shocks. Would I want to go with a traditional or the newer air ride system? Traditional I can do on my own, I'm thinking the air ride is something outside of my zone. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks 😊

Your 55 Olds has a very antiquated suspension with king pins and bushings. At least it has tubular shocks on the front instead of the old knee action shocks like the 54 has. You might try installing some gas shocks. I don't even know if air ride could be installed but would be expensive. Nice looking car by the way and welcome to classicoldsmobile dot com.
