Looking for a 71 w-30 I owned

I'm putting this out in the hopes of locating a 1971 442 w-30 I used to own. I sold the car years ago to a fellow Olds aficionado in the late 80s. He was supposed to sell it back to me if he ever sold it, but we lost touch with each other until recently. Unfortunately he had to sell the car in the 90s due to a financial problem. The last he saw it, it was at Momma's Used Cars in Charleston SC.

I have the original numbers matching W-30 engine for the car. The engine was pulled out because the new owner wanted a low milage 455 I had in the garage. Unfortunately my hood was stolen and the car sat under a series of tarps and so the VIN number on the block is very corroded.

The number on the block is 31M16590(last digit may be a 0,8,6) see the pictures below. The vin might be 334471M16590(X). Please pass his on.

Thanks,

Ben

Thanks for your thoughts on that digit! And correction to the VIN. The colors were Bittersweet exterior with Sienna interior. Automatic transmission, posi-trac rear end. I figured I put this info out just in case the current owner is a member. If we only knew then..........

Thanks,

Ben
