So I bought a 72 cutlass owners manual off of ebay almost 2 years ago and came with a protecto plate and dealer reciepts from Jim Allee Olds in Dallas

The owners name in the reciepts is TJ Allen and the vin is 3J57K2R137528
There are hand written notes and comments in the owners manual and in the Emission control book.

Just thought if anyone had this car or if this was anyones family that it may be valuable to them.

 

that is a good point. i have some old protect o plates that i could post to see if the owners would want them. that is if the car is still out there and if they would happen to be on here.

This is at least the 3rd time I have suggested a "lost" and "found" section for us to try to bring together the, well, lost and found.

 

I figured if an owner of an olds or a family member may be out there that this is a good place to try. Who knows the car or the owner may be long gone but if that belonged to a family member that may be all that is left and may be desired for keep sakes

Lost and found is a great idea I think, Although I am sure they can't help me find my mind or all the money we throw at our cars

 

Maybe Tim Allen the comedian? He's a car guy. Hey, you never know.
