Looked at your car in the For Sale section of the site. Didn't see any pics though. That helps buyers form an impression about the overall car. Does it still have the damaged OAI hood on it?

1972 Cutlass Supreme for sale
I replaced the hood with a stock steel and added hood stripes. I was not able to post pics on this website, but I also have it posted on Craig's list in St. Louis with pics.
Or if I have an email I can send pics, I do have several available.
Thanks

I am so bummed but I think I'm going to have to sell my '72 Supreme.
I want to get all the little things buttoned up before I list it but I'm really having trouble finding the time. I'm also unsure if I should install all of the parts I bought for it or just sell them separately. I'll post it in the for sale section when it's ready.

Thanks - nothing that bad...just the usual financial stuff. My health insurance went up $300 per month in January and we're just not making it. I can pay off a loan if I sell the car and that would help out with our monthly defecit. I hate to get rid of it but I'll get another one someday...

68-72 Cutlass / 79MK II / Mike
Mike,
Well good luck to youas I (and my brother) are doing your car right now. I found the car down in Mexico some years back and it has been quite exhausting on the wallet and other issues to say the least. The car had a 350 with a power glide (Two speed) tranny, and now she has a 455 with a TH 400 & shift kit. while I will say that the engine is good an healthy, but not really built, but does "rumble" quite well.
When I seen your add I must admit I laughed a bit as when we purchased the car we had the same budget (about some 12 - 14k), Well as of today we have over 22K invested, but I will stated we spent over 10K on body work and paint, and next up if rebuilding the interior. So maybe you know something I (we) don't as bringing this car back to life has been way more of a project than we thought.
So best of luck to you and should I run into another on (68 - 72) two door cutlass I will definately let know as I travel for my business quite a bit and go through quite an array of small towns and that is how I found the one we have.
Best of luck,
Punnice

Please disregard this thread....a car was found and purchased. Thanks
Looking for a decent Cutlass to replace my '72 Supreme that I had to sell a few years ago. I want a '68-'72 Cutlass or Cutlass Supreme (or 442 of course) and would like to spend around $10k-$12k (less is better obviously but maybe more for the right car). I'm pretty much open to anything from '68-'72 but must be a 2-door.
I strongly prefer something that doesn't need bodywork, but might consider a project for the right car / right price. I don't do bodywork or paint so I'd have to pay top dollar for all of that work which makes a lot of projects cost prohibitive. I can do most mechanical work though so some projects would be considered.
I live in Northeast Ohio, not too far from Cleveland. I'm willing to pick up just about anywhere in the U.S. for the right deal. Please send me a PM or post the info here if you know of any nice Cutlasses for sale.
Thanks for your help!
