Looking for a complete 1968-1972 Cutlass or 442 that requires little to no work, doesn't need to be a show winner but I also cannot take on a total restoration at this point(I have 5 restored cars + the parts and lacking space). My only requirements are that it's NOT a convertible and it has black interior.

Would like the car to have a TH-350 and a "stronger" (8.5" ideal) rear would be perfect. Planning on putting a 600+ horse 488ci Olds in the car. Been looking for the right car for about a year now, finally decided it's time to make the commitment since the 488 is just sitting around. Looking to make a nice driver that I can take to the track on weekends.

 

I have a '72 442 "S" model "post" that is one of 123 total produced; less with "U" code 455 engine. Car doesn't have original engine, but is a great running 455 and rebuilt 400 Turbo. Car is Saturn Gold w/ Black vinyl top and seats. Factory W-25 Ram-Air hood, 4-spoke steering wheel, SS||| wheels, etc. I can PM pics if you are interested. I have a very very solid and clean 72 cutlass S
Its was a one owner car that was 100% original perfect rust free original panels. Was painted about 2 years ago and paint is near show condition. The only thing you are asking about it does not have is black interior. This one has white. If you are interested we can talk more details. I had planned on minor engine compartment clean up and fix a few oil leaks add some tire and wheels and sell for somewhere around 12,500 if I sold it as is as could go a bunch less.

 

Thanks for the reply guys. But I purchased a 71 Cutlass Supreme. Cars amazingly solid and needs nothing more than a fresh paint job. Thanks again to everyone who got ahold of me with info on cars.

Beautiful car I kinda like the way they painted the grilles the same color as the stripes It's different but I like it

 

Good luck with it. I've always been a big fan if those "halo" vinyl tops. Keep us posted on the progress---what colors are you going with? OAI hood?

 

I'm still undecided on the color, I saw a nice one on the internet with a darker grey with black stripes. As for the hood it will most likely be a W25.
