I am recovering from MAJOR back surgery, so a Rallye 350 isn't on the priority list right now.

Sorry to hear about your back. I feel your pain. Hang in there.

Hope that your recovery goes well, and that you will eventually find the Rallye that you want.

Thanks guys for the encouraging words---it means a lot. I had been fighting chronic back pain for 30 or so years and had gotten to the point where the pain was unbearable. I had an MRI done and found out it was way worse than I thought and it caused me to lose strength in my leg among other problems. I put of doing it because, quite frankly, I was scared. Tomorrow is 5 weeks since surgery and I still have a long way to go. Thank God ( and I do and I mean it ) for my wife---she is the best wife in the world and I couldn't have made it this far without her.
Again, thanks for the kind words.

I saw after I posted this that it's a 71. I'm not sure why anyone would want to clone a Rallye 350. I guess technicaly it's not because it's missing most of the stripes and logo's

Nope. Found one, got together on price and then "seller's remorse" set in. Still looking.

Hey Dave,
This guy called me yesterday about my '72 442. He said he had TWO Rallye 350's. One post and one hardtop cpe. Don't know anything else about them, except he would like to unload one. Worth a phone call:

I have a Rallye 350 post bench seat 4 speed car now but unfortunately it is just a body and chassis. It is missing most everything else. It is solid enough that I hope to see it put back together. Not sure you want a project this big. Almost need another one to complete this one. The doors, trunk lid, floors, floor pan, and chassis are all very solid. sit since 1982 in dry storage. For a great show car it would need the quarters replaced.

Some of the pictures have a timestamp from 2010 so that may be worth asking about.

Hi, if you're still looking for a Rallye 350, here's one at auction in Raleigh, NC, this weekend.

http://www.raleighclassic.com/used-R...ye-Base-259115

I've seen the car in person but just briefly. There is a preview of the cars on Thursday night, if someone is serious about the car I could check it out. I believe this auction has a good reputation and they always have a lot of claimed low mileage cars there.
