two 1965 Starfire coupes for sale.
Two 1965 Starfires with two donor/parts cars.
STARFIRE #1 is a very low and oddly optioned car.
Rare, one of about 120 hard tops ordered with a Muncie 4speed
(this number came from a reliable source who is a member of this site)
Protect-o-plate verifies that this car came with a 360 hp non 's' suffix 425
(literature shows Starfires came standard with an 's' suffix 370 hp 425)
Custom Sport Wheel Discs
(comes with 6 wheel covers and 12 spinner hubcaps)
QA 2.79 open rear end
Mojave Mist exterior with Fawn ALL vinyl interior
(literature shows Starfires came standard with leather interior)
Dark Fawn 4speed console, rear light area is not broken (yet)
Tach on console
crank windows
n.o.s left door mirror in box
no a/c
power brakes and steering, vacuum trunk release, am radio
windshield washer
new front brake cylinders and hoses
very straight body with minor rust issues, has new tires, stored inside since 2001
(guessing $4000-$5000 plus your time would put this on the road and looking nice)
current South Dakota plates and title.
Have never tried to start(exhaust rotted off) engine turns over with key good compression

correct shifter, it has a nice Hurst in its place now
correct antenna
rear bumper needs replaced or fixed
correct radiator, it has a recon auto tranny cooler rad now

I would like to get $8000 out of all of it but like everything, that is negotiable. Not a very motivated seller, just afraid I will never get to them. Would like to sell as one package but may sell each Starfire (and its related parts) in two packages.

NADA gives both cars a low retail of just over $13000, avg of $27000 and high of $42000+. I am not suggesting they will ever be worth $40g's but if you do a lot of your own work and invest (realistically) $17500 all said and done,

Hey Chrome burner, I have some interest in the 4speed car and would be up for selling the Delta depending on the what kind of package is sold.

Update on condition
Sorry to say that the 4speed car has wicked frame rust in front of the rear wheels in the area where the trailing arms attach.
I will do some checking and come up with a new price based on this info.
If someone was looking for a frame off project this is the one. The four door frames and the two door frames should be the same since they have the same wheel base and I do have an extra frame or two to choose from.

yes the cars are still for sale but I need to do some more research on value since the 4speed car has a crappy frame.

Price reduction to $6000 for all the '65 stuff
Hello Classic Oldsmobile,
Since I found out the frame is shot on the 4speed car I did some re figuring and came up with $6000 for all the stuff mentioned above.
The frame on the green 88 parts car is in nice shape and is the same as the Starfire so it will have to go with that car.
I still may separate cars but would rather get rid of all this iron in one shot.

Both of my Starfires and parts are spoken for and have had earnest money paid down on them. Thanks to ClassicOldsmobile.

I'm interested in the body trim for the 4 door delta for all 4 doors and the small sections after rear doors to rear wheel wells. Are they in good shape, (minimal pitting)? Would you be willing to remove them & sell them seperately? Or how much for the 4 door 88 runner?
