'65 442 Sport Coupes 4-sp with A.C.??

Anyone have a clue on production numbers??

Closest we can get you is 3164 '65 442 Sports Coupes with 4-speeds.

I had one that was Forest Mist with black buckets and no console. AC, power brakes only, Limited Slip rear w/3:42 gears. No power steering, in fact it had a tight ratio steering box that was a very rare option for 65. Three turns lock to lock. Hard as hell to steer going slow but was a great street car.

You sure about the 3.42s? The *Anti-Spin* gear sets for The P and B types that came with the A-bodies went 3.23 to 3.55. 3.42s were a full size ratio.

May have been 3:55. the guy I bought it from was the original owner and drag raced it. Very few street miles when I bought it.
