Here's more Information about my 1966 Delta 88 4 speed
At the risk of repeating myself, I am providing more information about the Delta 88 that I purchased from the estate of John Hoppe.Years ago, John had told me that he saw an ad in Hemmings , drove with a friend to Mississippi, bought the Delta and drove it back to Milwaukee, parked it and did virtually nothing to it for 40 years, with perhaps adding the Polycast wheels and doing some front end work. After I purchased it, I removed the turquoise carpeting and vinyl seats. The bench seat , rear seat, and driver's door panel are at the trim shop- awaiting my ok to proceed IF I do not sell it. Dash pad is very nice as well as the dashboard. Three door panels are very nice as well as the rear shelf. I do have the left front wheel opening moulding. It has a small crease where it meets the fender bodyside chrome. I Although the front floor section is solid, there is rust through(holes) at the left rear seat bottom area, especially where the seat bottom attaches to the floor. The trunk floor is solid. Frame is good.If there is a strong interest, I would welcome having it inspected by you or someone of your choosing. It is easiest to call with any questions. Phone number is 414-791-7528
