Sale 1966 Delta Factory 4 speed

As much as I hate to do this, gauging interest in my 66 Delta 88 that I have owned since 1980. I have too many projects and not enough room and am not enjoying this car as I should. The car has never been restored but the original 425 375HP engine has been rebuilt to stock specs. I would call this car 95% original and correct with lots of patina. It is factory equipped with reverb, bench seats, manual brakes. The 2L on trim tag verifies it as a factory 4speed car. It has the optional 375 HP dual exhaust engine. The car runs and drives very well with no known issues mechanically. The drivers seat covering needs repair, the back glass leaks, the paint is failing and there are a few small dents with the front left fender being the worst. To my knowledge this is the ONLY existing 66 Delta 4spd coupe left on the planet. 14,900.00 Central NJ

Wow! I love this car! I have a pile of rust that once was a 65 Delta with factory 4 speed. Truly wish I were in a position to buy yours. Best of luck with sale!

Thanks all for the comments, story goes I am the 3rd owner. The original owner passed away and his wife could not drive it due to it being stick so she sold it. Second owner abused it a bit, hit a deer, (fender dents) and used it for an empty beer can dump. I am hoping someone else will take the ownership responsibility and cherish this rare piece as much as I have. I never got around to a nice restoration as the originality this car carries would be lost in the resto.

That is one unique car. I bet the production number was ridiculously low with factory four speed.

I was hoping anyone interested would be close enough for an in person look. I need to get more picts agreed... Have clear title, car runs and drives fine. Over the years have acquired many NOS trim parts for this car should someone be interested in a nice restoration on this car. The trim on the car overall is good but not show quality. Willing to negotiate up or down depending on what extra parts (nos) would come with the car. As said this car has never been restored and wears a lot of its 52 year old patina.

I hope it is sold as well! If deal goes thru it will be heading to Utah for a possible full resto and Museum Display so it has been said. It was reported that the interested party already has (4) B body 4spd cars!

I hope the deal goes down Joe, sounds like that's where it needs to be. 👍

Yeah, that azz end looks vulnerable but if you picture an A body on the U-Haul trailer the rear hangs off quite a bit, I wish safe travels to my old friend....
