The only visible differences between a 70 GT and a regular 70 Toro are the GT emblem on the hood, the OM tag on the trans, and the cut-out rear bumper.
The car does have a cut out rear bumper.
The hood emblems have been removed, and it is hard to see if the holes were there for the GT emblem or not.
There is no photo of the trans tag. An OM tag on a matching numbers trans or the OM on a protecto plate are the only way to prove a GT or W34. Many 70 GT's have stripes, but not all.
Here is a pretty nice 70 GT that sold back in sept. on ebay for 22K. Between the two, I think I would rather have the one below: https://www.ebay.com/itm/266975541442
Based on the dash and rust on the steering column shifter, I'd want to get a good look under the vehicle.
Hopefully someone didn't slap on a quick paint job for resale.
104000 miles, wrong mirrors. Goofy fender louvers as mentioned earlier. Definite repaint, there is overspray on the front bumper. Assuming it is a GT, they neglected to repaint the 35W34 body side paint stripes around the wheel openings. Front bumper has been painted silver or sand blasted or something, It looks funky. It is also rusted out in a weird place right of center. Never seen that before. Seat belt retractor cover is missing.
$19750 Seriously? I would probably take half that for my 75000 mile survivor GT.....GLWS!!!!
