1968 Oldsmobile 442 convertible....car has 400 c.i.d 4-speed muncie trans and 411 posi-trac. car is Saffron yellow with black fender stripes, odometer reading 97,000 miles "not sure if thats actual". Car has power disc brakes in the front and power steering. Car also has a power convertible top and tilt wheel..Car has retro sound system..car is all set up like a W-30 with dual air snorkels and plastic red fender wells ..Car could be a true W-30 but is unknown to me..The car has the C-TYPE heads and from what I understand it should have the D-TYPE heads if it was W-30 and can't find engine block numbers..This car is being sold as-is and you can verify if it is a W-30 or not...I bought the car from a museum and only owned it for a year...I'm moving and wanna sell at this point..This ride is super rare and a lot of fun and fast..WAY TO MUCH DONE ON THIS CAR TO LIST...I'm not answering a ton of questions on this car cause little is known to me..So all negative Oldsmobile enthusiasts understand this is a true 442 and unknown if it is a W-30 or clone period..if u have more questions then what if stated then I may not be able to help..come look at the car and see it for yourself
Super rare 1968 Olds 442 Convertible. 400ci original engine/325 HP. Rare 4 speed: 1 of only 1518 produced. Rare Saffron Yellow: 1 of only 177 produced. Convertible: 1 of only 5142 produced. Power steering, power brakes, power top, W30 red inner fenders, Hurst badging. This 400ci V8 is fitted with a Holley Sniper EFI self-tuning master kit, installed in August of 2023, dual snorkel air cleaner, an Edelbrock intake manifold, and a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster muffler
Upholstery and interior
The cabin houses front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl, along with a center console fitted with a 442 shifter. Wood-rimmed steering with an Oldsmobile-logo horn button fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a multi-gauge displaying fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temp. The five-digit odometer shows 97K miles, actual mileage is unknown.

Little effort equals little results. When asking 50k plus, its in your best interest to give as much detail as possible..68 442’s are not in the same category as HO cars, w30 cars etc..Best to you on the sale.

Great looking car, but it wasn't born a W30 in Atlanta (per BaT listing). From the pics on BaT, The battery is on the wrong side for a '68 W30, also, I think. Stripes appear spot-on - that's a plus. $55K? Not for my wallet, but it sure is a looker!
