I've seen it too. I believe a lot of paperwork was "discovered" after this car left John's. I'm always skeptical of such claims. I understood that this car was not highly documented (but fairly correct) when John owned it.

Beautiful car but wheels don't look correct. Good to see the pinstripe on the dash.

Yes indeed a paper trail was discovered, however still NO factory paperwork to confirm the W30.

I looked at this car and talked to John on a few occasions about the car when he owned it. I know for sure that the car does not have the original OW trans.

Beautiful car!!!

Cheers,
Sam

It always bugs me when they call it a Cutlass. By the way, my friend owns a 1968 LeMans GTO.

so, plus or I guess not minus a few service transes, there are only 43 "68 OW" transes ever made [by/at the factory- repro tags on any old trans not inclued] ??

And, I have one of those, by accident, but no one has ever photographed any of the "2500" Solid Main Web 403's ??

No sale at $68,000. I think it went to $70k the last time.

Well, so long as you don't count the OW transmissions that were installed in non-convertible 1968 W-30s.
