1972 Cutlass Supreme (442 Clone)

I finally found my "dream Oldsmobile" so I need to make room in the garage and sell my 1972 Cutlass Supreme resto-mod. This is originally a Texas car and I have owned it for just over 2 years. Bought it from another great member of this site. It was re-done by its previous owner and is a fantastic, turn-key, car that gets compliments wherever I take it. It is reliable, fun, rowdy and all around a good performing machine. The engine was specked out by Mondello and was built around his recommendations. I have no proof, receipts or otherwise. Just the good word of the last owner. This was done apx 7000 miles ago.

I'm looking to get $13,000 for this ride.
Location: Olathe, KS

Details about the car:
1969 Oldsmobile 350 engine
Ported Edelbrock Heads port matched to Edelbrock Intake
Holley dual feed 750
Full MSD system: Ignition, Billet distributor, wires.
Coated Headers to full 3" Pypes exhaust (the sound alone will make you buy it)
130 Amp upgraded system
Upgraded radiator
Electric Fan
Electric Fuel Pump (newly installed about 4 months ago)
Custom Stereo (no junk finished out right...will cause welcomed hearing damage)
iPod hook up in the center console
Disc breaks, power steering, power brakes
Recently rebuild 700r4 Overdrive / TCI / Barks the tires hard and brings (apx 1 yr ago) broad smiles.
12 bolt 3.73
All suspension redone, nothing untouched.
17x9.5 rear wheels 17x8 Front / Tires are nearly new
All gauges aside from the clock, aftermarket tach and fuel gauge work accurately.
No HVAC
Front disc brakes
An awesome dark blue paint color with ghost stripes that just looks beautiful in the sun

Has a very small amount of bubbling on the bottom of the front right fender. The rest of the car is bone dry. All of the typical A body rust issues are not. The paint is very nice. The car shows well. Anyone who knows muscle cars and knows the effort and cost will see this and buy it. It's not perfect so please don't arrive thinking this is a perfect car. It's a VERY good driver. There are small amounts of paint chipping that can been seen when very close.

I would be more then happy to take more pictures and video of it running, idling, or just a tour of the car. However, I have never driven the car in rain or snow, so please allow a delay for the weather to get cleared. We just got hit with snow and sleet.

I have zero to hide and don't want to leave anything else so please use any of the contact information provided.

I don't think you'll have any trouble selling.

Thumbs up Should sell quick

I've noticed it on this site before. Tough looking car, well done. I liked it immediately. I'm short about 13000 or I would consider buying it. A video of it running for the sound would help if it sounds like it looks. Good luck on it.

Thanks. I've had flowmasters on my Cutlass SX, Magnoflow on my 68 Cutlass, and the Pypes on this one by far sounded the best. I definitely wanted to get a video with this original post put this weather has been ridiculous. I'll try to get one ASAP though.

I found the youtube videos of the car from the past owner. Although these videos are 2 years old, the car is practically in the exact same shape.

Sorry for the non related question, but would you mine sharing the dimmentions of your tires? I'm looking to do the same size rims on my car and I'm looking for tire size options. Thanks, Dave

Joffroi,
Your car is nice enough to enter in a car show and that's a place you could find a good buyer. There are plenty of them right around the corner on the calendar. There will be good sized shows in Ottawa, Louisburg, Olathe etc etc. This car should bring every dollar of what you're asking, don't give it away, it would cost a lot to reproduce. - Steven

I hope you have a good buyer Joffroi, I've been through a few auctions with non-paying bidders and it looks like your buyer doesn't have any purchase history. I'd keep track of any other interests as potential back-up buyers. - Steven

Yeah hope it's a good bidder. I just don't get the motivation of the non paying bidder ?

Yea, I'm always wearing on 0 rating bidders as well. But I talk to this person in plenty of emails and phone calls to think this will be legit. I should know by the end of tomorrow if something goes South.
