1971 cutlass supreme convertible - 68,000 original miles
1971 Cutlass Supreme convertible...yes, that’s only 68,000 miles put on by original owner from 1971 until summer of 2017.
$19,500
Paperwork includes:
“Original” window sticker
Owner’s manuals
Broadcast card
Original owners state annual registrations
Original Retail form
Motor Vehicle Installment Sales Contract
Service receipts from dealer and more
I bought the car in November, 2017 from a long time Olds guy (seller). Seller bought the car from the original owner’s estate in September 2017. He had known the owner and about the car for a long time. The original owner used to store the car in the winter at the Ford dealership where he (seller) still works works.
Here are some notes from my conversation with seller back in October 2017 about the car in no particular order:
Seller states:
”Tight” ride and drive.
Runs and drives very well, like a 68,000 mile car should that has been well taken care of.
True one owner car when I bought it.
Since I have purchased the car I have changed oil filter, put all new brakes and spring kits and four wheel cylinders and fluid, all four drums machined, wheel bearings cleaned and repacked.
Car was rustproofed at time of original delivery.
Car does not smoke.
Believe it or not top is original, but probably needs to be replaced. Works fine. Is Sandalwood in color. An option in top colors for that year.
Car comes with many parts including front end parts, four shocks to be installed if you think they are needed and more.
PS, A/C (haven’t ran it), AM radio, dual sport mirrors, rallye SS III wheels, posi-traction rear end,
End of notes from seller’s conversations with me.
My notes:
Since I have owned it I had a power brake system put on car by a long time Olds guru/mechanic.
Power steering hose has been replaced.
Turned on a/c unit. Not locked up and appears to work, but has a little noise in the blower motor.
Seller titled the car in his name and then I titled the car in my name. Alls, I still have the “original” title.
I am only selling this car to finance some projects I have going on at a new home and farm my wife and I purchased last year.
Look forward to talking more with you about the awesome car.
Please feel free to call with any questions.
