Those are the original 70 brake drums. Nice piece to have for detail.

Original Brake shoes too.

So on the no undercoat/sound deadener issue, was this just for the 70-72 W30 and 70 W31's?

How about the 68-69 W30 and W31 or any of the previous W machines?

I have found the reduced sound deadner/undercoating valid for 1970 W-31s and 70-72 W-30s. I don't have enough experience with the 1966 W-30s, but had thought that they too had a reduced amount of sound deadner / undercoating.

Stefano , thanks for follow up .
I'm tempted on just about everything you bring to market . If the new owner feels compelled to share his restoration story with you , I think it would be enlightening for any " would be " real W- 30 fans out here .

Fortunately , nearly all of my fun money is tied into my 67 442 way over the top restoration . I'm back in the market as soon as I move that unit .
And , it is always nice to dream . I love to follow all the real W - 30's that live in this forum , and thanks to the guy's that share their progress.
