1970 442 w30 project car

Hello a friend of mine told me about this car and I wanted to find out whether you guys and gals thought this is a good buy or not a good buy? I have my 71 Cutlass vert but was always looking for an opportunity to buy a 442 w30 coupe with A/C as a project if the price was right. Not looking to spend the big bucks to make a show car but just a nice cruiser to use.

Thanks,

Tom

I am by no means an expert but if it is everything they say it is it sounds like a smoking deal to me. Let us know what happens.

You better grab that before I do!!!

Looks legit, decent project car, most of the important stuff is there, price seems good to me.

See what other more savvy, observant posters have to say.

Check into it, good price for what it is but I am 99% sure this was sold at least a month ago the first day some of us saw it listed

Edit: It is the one

Wow. Looks like a smokin' deal. The chrome valve covers are not stock, but the intake is correct. It's got the right parts. I assume those are F heads - the photos don't show it. Be sure to check the casting number, not just the letter.

Also, be aware that the A/C cars did not come with the 328 deg W-30 cam but a milder cam that provided more vacuum.
