Nose to tail updates over the past 26 years of ownership--name the .part - it has been replaced, re-manufactured or rechromed. Paint code #48 / black interior - bench seat 4 sp. Previous owner did away with original intake & carb. Currently running Edelbrock "455 Olds Performer" with model #1409 four barrel Edelbrock carb. Paint was done in 98' and holding up nicely.--front & rear bumpers rechromed same year. New wheel trim mouldings, eyebrows, and grills replaced Engine was done in 2004 with odometer reading 22,600 --currently at 137,200. I have the complete list of everything replaced in this 455 original block and transmission. Shifter was replaced with a new Hurst unit, ( have the original shifter and handle ) just decided not to rebuild it. Power steering was updated to quick ratio and resealed- absolutely no steering wheel stray at 65 mph. HEI was a new unit from a 78' Delta 88, performs very well.
All interior seat covers, door panels, and package tray purchased through PUI. Carpet was in great shape- removed and re-dyed & insulated sound shield was applied to floor. Floor pans & trunk pans in very good condition --nothing needed to be cut out in either areas. Exhaust is Flowmaster 40 series with Flowmaster stainless the first 4 ft. ( 2 1/2 " ) from the stock exhaust manifolds to the chrome trumpets is 2 1/2 " aluminized which was all professionally hung correct. Looks and sounds just like a 442 should. Most recent updates: New 14" Flex- a-lite pusher fan was added in April 2023 to replace the Derale that was on the car when I purchased it in 1997. The 4 row radiator keeps it cool, but, I still use the pusher occasionally if stuck in traffic on a 90 degree day. Newer General tires were done in April of 2021. New battery I just installed in May 2023. Lastly a complete set of Coker SS1 reproduction chrome wheels, center caps and lugs are included in this offering of $33K. I have plans to have the car in Lansing Michigan for the upcoming homecoming show on 17 June 2023. Private Messages at dal442 here on Classic Oldsmobile will be answered. Thanks for the time you have taken to read this
If I am reading the description correctly, there are approximately 115K-miles on the motor since the last refresh? Is that the way you guys are reading it? Thanks for your interpretation.

. My calculator says there are 114,600 miles between 22,600 and 137,200.
I can only address the data presented. I historically have driven mine around 4500 miles per year. 26 years x 4500 miles = 117,000 miles which is similar to what was posted.
gentlemen ( & or ladies if applicable ) yes, averaged approx 4500 annually ---i probably could have stated that more clear after reading this posting for the sale. sorry for the confusion --not an intension to mislead. some years i drove the car more than others, depending on work. forgot to include that 4 years ago, head gaskets were again replaced along with valve cover & exhaust manifold gaskets. quite frankly, i have never even turned the wheels on this car----yep go ahead and laugh, but its the truth. a pending deal has been agreed to, but not finalized. when it becomes final i will let you all know. thanks for the time and the comments. lastly, the picture of the w-31 owned by "indy guy" (higher up the thread) is a car that i am familiar with over the past 35 years. absolutely stunning. if it ever goes on the block it surely would be offered by mecum or barrett-jackson. DO NOT let it get away.---if you have the means chase it down--Quickly !
