70' 442 holiday coupe.

70' sherwood 442 bench / 4 speed.
this car has been gone through nose to tail.
front / rear bumpers re-chromed. new headlite bezels and grills. all new front end parts...shocks...brakes...radiator re-cored. new interior 6 years ago..seat covers...door panels...package tray...new window fuzzies...all door weatherstripping... including trunk. motor is stock --done 12 years ago. original intake...and carb were missing when i purchased vehicle in 1996. now running edelbrock carb and intake. hei ignition ( 76' delta 88 new )
car has all new flowmaster custom mandrel bend 2 1/2 inch from manifolds to tips. running flowmaster 40's mufflers. all body to frame donuts replaced including radiator core support. new dog dish caps...sale will include SS! reproduction wheels from coker in the box -- car runs a 14X7 presently.
recently re-sealed the steering box with quick ratio gear --- makes steering a dream. recently replaced head gaskets ---very minor leak after 12 years overhaul. 3:42 ratio gearing in posi track. runs very strong...if you are looking for a 442 done correct this is the one. emdlek@frontier.com

ohh....forgotten item. pioneer stereo / cd player mounted in glove box. with custom speakers mounted in front dash...and 6x9 in rear under the package tray. also access line for ipod / which is mounted in ash tray door location.
it's amazing some of the items that come to mind after you place the ad.

both block and trans are original to the car..... both have been gone through extensively.....4 years ago i had some trouble with both 3rd & 4th gear. at that time gearing was updated...shifter was also changed to a new hurst unit.

i still have the original shifter if the new owner wants to rebuild it....i decided not to.

i have decided to discontinue this ad......

i am amazed the amount of morons that believe the restoration of such of vehicle is a simple job....it is not.

i challenge any of the "rookies" to take a vehicle to the standard that i have presented and do it for less....

the "pro's" on this site know exactly what i am declaring----i throw in the towel, and i am keeping the car.

Smart move to keep it. I also have a sherwood green 1970 442 but mine is a auto on the floor and not as nice as yours.
