Did you ask the owner of the G body if they would be willing to tradr for your Cutlass? I love your car, 69 is the most beautiful year IMO, and my favorite year. The colors are great too. I would if i could believe me.

X2 G-bodies will never be as desired or valuable as the 64-72 cars.

The transmission was rebuilt and a slight shift kit was added at the same time as the engine. Car has 145,xxx miles on it. I had the car repainted in '10 with all new emblems, door handles, door mirror, and new vinyl top. The interior needs work. It is mostly original and is showing its age. The car has never seen salt or winter. It was sold new at Rooster Bush in Hickory, NC. If you want more pictures let me know. I can take almost anything.

Sold!!!!

Car is "technically" sold. Although no money has exchanged hands or the interested party has not seen the car in person, but he told me to consider it sold to him and offered a deposit to hold car until he can pick it up.

I know a year old thread revival. Thought all should know I still have the car I just couldn't part ways with it. Not to say that I wouldn't or won't sell it, but the money has to be real and my amount to make it happen. At 17 years of caretaking this car is like a family member.

Probably the right idea! I've thought of the car often, but life is just too hectic now for me to consider adding to the family. I'll look you up if I'm back that way.
