1968 Olds Delta Custom in New York. Interesting...
Hi All
I normally don't do this, but something in the facebook ad caught my eye. Those are the same wheels/hubcaps used on polices cars of this vintage. The speedometer doesn't say police calibration, but if someone nearby wants to check it out it might be interesting to see what else it has on it. There is some body damage in the right rear of the car.

I had a set years ago I removed from a 1968 Delta Custom and a member here paid a very generous amount for them. The listing still shows up over on Facebook, but I see a message saying the listing has been removed? Oh wait, privacy settings is probably the issue.
Ya I'm having a hard time restraining myself from going to look at it.
Perfect for the virgin 455 I have on a stand.
The dented body parts will be very hard to find.
A "30" with a TH400 is uncommon. Who has the skinny on the 350 with a TH400 combo. I wonder if thats a 455?

The Delta Custom was only available with a 455 for the 1968 model year. Only the Delmont was available with a 350. Those 350 Delmonts came with a TH375, which looks like a TH400 until you open it up. Torque converter looks like a replacement in the underside photo. The missing dust cover also suggests the car has been apart at some point. Despite all the photos in the ad, no actual pictures of the engine. The air cleaner is a 2bbl. And cop cars didn't come with power windows or seats, so it is highly unlikely that this is a B01 or B07 car. The lack of a rear sway bar confirms that it isn't a B07 car.
