Very nice, but he kind of skirts the issue of whether it's a real L-69 or not by using the term "correct" -- see what paperwork there is before spending the big money.

It is not a real car. The car came from Arizona. I do not know who restored it. My friend bought it as an add on L-69. Very nice car though.

Hate that! caveat emptor! Very nice car with added trips. Why not just advertise it as such! Never mind dont answer that. thankx for being honest Harry.

That's a ton of money for a "tribute" car. I will say this. That car is absolutely stunning. If I had the extra cash laying around, burning a hole in my pocket, I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep writing the check for this car. It is absolutely stunning. I'd buy it to drive and enjoy. It would not be relegated to "show only" status. Its a veritable time capsule. This would probably be the only chance for someone younger to experience one of these cars "as new" and see what all the commotion was about when they premiered.

I'm not so sure about that. This car has been through several owners over the years and the history is known. Dave Engle from MN. owned the car a long time ago and it was a 3X2 car then. It is however not a factory heater delete car. It was made a heater delete by a low life from AZ. I have pictures of all three cowl tags that was/is on the car. The pictures show the original tag,the incorrect repo tag showing the heater delete code and the corrected tag showing the heater delete option.

What about this car makes it a 'tribute'?
