1966 Olds 442

I'm tossing around the idea of parting with my dad's 442. He bought it off of Mecum in 2012 and loved it until he passed away in 2017 and I've had it ever since sitting in the garage. I'm too scared to drive it too much for fear of anything happening to it and it just sits in the garage. It's always been in a heated garage and covered with the car body cover. Here's the link of the car from Mecum from when it was purchased.
1966 Oldsmobile 442 For Sale At Auction - Mecum Auctions

It has some Cooper RWL tires on it now just to make it easier to drive around (I do drive it every 3 months or so just to keep everything lubed up) and I do have the Redline tires in my garage. It sits on a battery tender and there is nothing to do to this car, just enjoy it. Every thing I've done to it: It has original parts (new water pump in 2018, blower fan in 2022, AM radio in 2024) and it runs great. Never had Ethanol gas in it, always 'clear' gas either 87-89 octane or whatever I can get in western Colorado. Car gets waxed and vacuumed after every ride and since it's in my lift all I do is clean the undercarriage. I change the oil every 1,500 miles or so if it needs it or not. It currently has 27,775 miles on it and will go up slightly as I do drive it. AC works, the compressor clicks on but there's no refrigerant in it and I didn't feel like letting a local shop monkey around with it. Never driven it in rain or bad weather and it shows.
I live in Grand Junction, Colorado. Phone # 970-210-2303 if any questions. I don't want to trade anything for it, just want to sell it. $68,000 OBO. Thanks for looking!

All bodies were dunked in primer before painting. The large oval holes in floor boards and other smaller drain holes were used to drain primer rapidly after they were dipped. Rubber plugs filled the larger holes.
The underside of floor boards were painted black later. The underside floorboards were never painted the body color. There was often evidence of body color overspray around the perimeter. This was told to me by a retired paintshop supervisor at Oldsmobile.
The body color painted underside floorboards on this car is called "artistic freedom". It never happened at the factory.

^^^ This is what I was thinking -- bottom of floors SB chassis black. Surprised this didn't come up in judging.

Car still makes me salivate, though. GLWS.

FYI
The window sticker seems to indicate a Lansing car but the vin says Z which should be California built.

You are correct Z is Freemont CA plant. Probably a fabricated sheet from seller at mecum for show and passed off as legit. Also inside trunk should be body color. It.looks like a very nice car and quality work, just not exactly like the factory.
