Beautiful fall day, I'm off work, and honey dos are done...so...

It's time for a ride...

Getting ready to head out...

Cruising down the 4 lane...

Headed off the highway for some two lane blacktop

Stopped for some pics along the way...

Time for a drink before heading home 😁

Back home..

..and put away till next time.

Looks like the Blackwater River? Had forgot how flat Eastern Vajenya is...

Pontiac bud is talking about a run to Ivor in a couple weeks. He likes RM Felts country hams and the grocers he usually gets them from have changed suppliers this year. So off we go on a hamming expedition 🐷 ! Probably run up to Wakefield after peanuts too...

A little Vajenya humour...

Yeah, we in the Commonwealth will laugh at ourselves...🙂🙃 Helps to understand a little about Vajenya and its cherished traditions! like Smithfield-style country ham, which easily justifies a day trip drive...😋

They're what I thought of when he first mentioned it, but he says there's actually a Wakefield brand of peanuts. I'm good with any peanut and am grateful I don't have a nut allergy.

A tick latched on me a couple years ago and all I could think was developing alpha-gal. If I couldn't have a nice steak or plate of barbecue, just shoot me. Grateful I didn't develop it.

Nice car!

I don't know anything about those peanuts, but that sure looked like a fun day in the Olds. Hope you have a thousand more.

Oh, they're good... definitely worth taking the car out to go get some!😋

But pretty sure Virginia Diner still ships their signature big fat 🥜 all over the US!

Ok, I'll take a guess, 2800 RPM's at 70 MPH, 2:73 gears?

Hope you have those T-Tops off! Might be the last day, the very last day for that up here in NE!

I will sorely miss these good weather days.

I had the same idea. Not too many days like this in November in Michigan.

Even in winter, we get enough good days in Colorado to go out sometimes. Just check the weather first!
