Use a flat-blade screwdriver, preferably with a wide blade, and pry between the blade and the gray plastic piece on the arm. The blade will pop off that spindle thing. Use a drop of thin oil or penetrant on it if needed.

Not quite. The screwdriver goes in the slot and presses down on the coil spring. This releases tension on the pin, allowing you to pull the blade off the pin. Levering against that plastic piece risks breaking it.

From the Chassis Service Manual:
Thanks so much Joe. Very helpful. Like I said, didn't want to break anything for something as simple as this ...
I bought a bunch from Rock Auto several years ago. Last time I bought 22" refills and I cut them down to size - I have a Jeep that uses 13" and those refills have been unavailable for a LONG time now.
Unfortunately, many of the refills are being discontinued, which is why I buy the longer ones and cut them down. Even many of the selections in longer sizes are being obsoleted.
I have had trouble finding refills. Where are you guys getting them?
Trico Classic Series, but some of these have been hard to find of late. My go-to is the fricken', er, I man Ficken Wiper Guy , who always has the 15" and 16" refills.
