Rust Inhibitor ??
Hello all,
As most all of you, my car has some rust on it. As little as it may be it still has some and definitely has the potential to rust.
I have seen these "Rust Inhibitor" sprays.
Does anyone have experience with any of these?
I am wondering how long these last?
Do you need to reapply after a certain amount of time?
Are they all the same or is there a specific "active" ingredient to look for in a good rust inhibitor?
Can you prime and paint over the top of these spray rust inhibitors?
Any other information I should know before using these products would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
John

I have used and been happy with the results of.......

It ends up being a excellent primer.

I have also had luck with Rust-Oleum. Clean the area thoroughly with a wire wheel to get off all the loose scale and oxidation. Then treat it with this:
Finally, you can paint the area with Rust-Oleum.
