Question Cleaning brake fluid stain from booster

Hi guys,

I recently bought a 70 Cutlass SX with a clean engine compartment. One exception: there is evidence of brake fluid running down the booster at one time. The booster is gold cadmium and the dried fluid is purplish in color.

Any suggestions on how to clean it? I don't want to use anything too strong as to ruin the nice plating on the booster.

Thanks

I would probably get it off as soon as possible with some soap and water maybe, i got brake fluid on my fenders when i was bleeding the brakes last fall..... consequently i had to re-paint most of that fender.. heh.

Well, the fluid has dried. Way too late for that.
