Rocker panel attatchment

Recently on my 85 delta 88 the lower chrome panels have became loose/ un-glued I was wondering what is the best glue to use to re attach them?

Or maybe there is a different method to use? Should I do any sanding before I apply adhesive???

An old timer suggested any adhesive with 100% silicone. I would head over to the parts store and see what you can find. I used a clear adhesive from Permatex. I used the cone attachment and pumped in some of the glue between the trim and body panel. So far so good.
