Embriodered Headrests...yup, I said it
Please bear w/ me on this one and I apologize in advance...
Unsure if this is an "option" on a 71 Supreme but mine has "Cutlass Supreme" embroidered w/ white stitching in my black headrests. Exploring all options so wondering if anyone may know the best way to clean/brighten the stitching w/o compromising the headrest/stitching itself. I've heard everything from Dow scrubbing bubbles to a product by Malco. I plan on visiting our local upholstery shop but am constantly amazed at the knowledge base here. Willing to sacrifice some testosterone to take a chance someone has run into this before. Thanks and once again, sorry.

Surely an aftermarket item.
Avoid anything acidic. Upholstery cleaner shoud work, or even ivory soap (it is very mild). Use a toothbrush and go very easy and very slowly. Blot with water and let dry.
