Bought a set of hood hinges from Roger for my '69 4-4-2 and they work great. I've been through two other sets of hood hinges for that car and both were what I would call downright dangerous. The originals were bad so I found a set in a junkyard that were even worse so I went back to the originals and had to use a telescoping shower curtain rod (at least the rod was white, the same color as the car!) to keep the hood from crashing down on me or anyone at a car show, even after changing out the original springs with reproductions. I spruced up the hinges I got from Roger and finished the project this afternoon. Those "new" hinges from Roger hold the hood up nice and tight, just like I remember from my very first car (a '69 4-4-2 Holiday Coupe) back in the '70s! Roger did me a good deed for which I am forever grateful! Look and see - no shower curtain rod!
