While I am knee deep in this thing and getting back close to original, I am looking to go back to the manual brakes, drum rear, disc front. I removed the booster and master. I want to retain the line lock So I am looking for a parts list:

new master (details???)
new rod from pedal to master
new metering valve that mounts to master
reuse distribution block or does the one in the pic need to be replaced??
check valve? I read somewhere about these brake systems had the distubution block, the metering valve and something else???
tweak the exisitng lines, probably end up bending new for the front

With the hold-off valve that mounts up by the MC the distribution block is just a distribution block to separate the front and rear systems and doesn't have to be changed, same one for drum brakes. I think in '71 they went to the combinmation valve on the frame and no hold-off valve up top?
There is a short line to the valve from the MC you'll have to make or buy, may be able to use the other one to the block.
My goat doesn't have the correction/proportioning valve in the line to the rear from the factory if it did have discs originally, basically the same set-up with just the valve by the MC and works fine.
The Inline Tube site doesn't show a rear valve for the Oldsmobiles? They have them for some other A bodies.
They're big into Oldsmobile and the way I figure they would have it if there was supposed to be one, or maybe not?

Thanks Blue......I will keep looking for the right combo, Inline Tube has most of the parts....Parts Place has the rod....How is the metering valve plumbed? I haven't seen a picture from all angles, does it have two lines in and one out???? How does it work?

It appears (by doing a scratch test) that my brake distribution block is cast and not brass, which according to some (442 faq) means that it contains the metering valve within. Can anybody confirm if the manual brake rod is different than the brake rod with a booster? If different anybody got one available?
