power booster

hi , I checked all the auto parts company,s online ,they don,t list a booster for my 65 starfire , yet they list one for the 65 delta 88, I thought they where pretty much the same , can any body tell me why this match won,t work?thanks ,will.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say the power brake booster for a '65 Delta 88 and a '65 Starfire would be identical. I can't think of a single reason why they wouldn't be.

I don't see any reason why it doesn't fit. It probably doesn't list Starfire specifically

The boosters should be the same except if a manual trans booster is needed. They are smaller in size to clear clutch rod thru firewall if memory serves me.

They are the same. Most on-line parts catalogs are riddled with errors and omissions. There are millions of parts and very little incentive to spend time fact-checking applications for obscure model variations on 50 year old cars. Your Starfire is a Dynamic 88 with different trim. All D88 suspension and brake parts are the same on a Starfire.

You think this is bad? Try ordering Oldsmobile motor mounts or water pumps...
