Reusing distribution block ?

Finally got around to pulling the brake/fuel lines off the frame of my 72 (drum brakes). Still had the original brake distribution block which looked awful, and I was planning on replacing with a repop. But after spending some time on the wire wheel, the thing looks great. Have repeatedly rinsed it with carb cleaner and blown it out it - it seems to have no restrictions. Since it is just a distribution block - Can it be reused, and does anyone sell that plastic switch in the top of it seperately?

Thanks guys - I was worried that there might be some seals or something else internal that wears out. The block itself is pure brass (?), what is the correct finish for the attaching bracket?

for brake systems i think denatured alcohol is the better thing to use.

I reused mine and it works great, even after it had been sitting around for 25 years!
