Rear brake lines
Rear brake lines
The brake line over the rearend going over to the drivers side has a crease in it. So I need to replace it. I see lines for sale "Made to fit". I never have luck with this, but maybe someone has ordered lines that do fit.
So where is the best place get brake lines that really fit nice.
Thanks Barb.

Barb,
Try In Line Tube. I bought them for my 72 and am very happy with what' been installed so far. They use OEM parts as templates so the fit should be excellent. Your car is a 72 also so I would expect the fit to be excellent. see page 39 http://www.inlinetube.com/PDF%20cata...dsmobile03.pdf

If you're replacing an original line into an original setup, the Inline Tube lines are nice.
Often, though, brake tubing and parts will have been changed over the years.
In that case, just buying a length of tubing with the appropriate nuts on the ends (about $4, if I recall), bending and cutting it to length, and re-flaring one end with a flaring tool (about $20, I think) will get the job done neatly and safely.
