I ASSUME you are talking about the pushrod between the power booster and master cylinder?
There are only two lengths, short and long. The 1967-up cars with dual circuit master cylinder all used the short pushrod.

Yes that is exactly the answer I was looking for .
I appreciate your time and response. I just purchased a new power booster which has the short rod installed and came with the long one as well . Just waiting for a back ordered master cylinder and was curious to see which one is required before taking old M/C off .
Thank you again !

If you are getting a correct replacement M/C, it should have the matching shallow hole in the piston. Some aftermarket M/C come with the deep hole and a spacer that you insert if you have a booster with the short pushrod. Just note the hole in the new M/C before installing it.
