Hi, new to the site and new to Oldsmobiles...
I have a 69 442 with power drum brakes. I need to replace the front drums. Will 68 442 drums work on my 69?

I'm not postive about 69. Are the hubs, pressed on to the drums? 68 are, so if , if your's are they will probably work. You can seperate the hubs if you pound,or press the off. What I do a lot of times if I'm not sure what fits what, is to go to my local wrecking yard, and they usally print out a cross over list of the parts you are looking for, and tell all the cars that use the same part.

Too bad you weren't closer!I have a complete drum brake system off of a 68 442,the fronts have been recently redone with new shoes,cyls,hardware,master,rears appear to be good. I switched to an MBM four wheel disc system,I am willing to sell it cheap enough that the cost of shipping may be worthwhile...
