Question power brake booster question

Hey fellow olds people,

I would like to know if there is a difference between power brake booster for disc and power brake booster for power drum or are they the same.

In my '68 GTO the booster for front discs is larger in diameter than the drum.
I did a front disc conversion and used the drum booster with a disc MC for years with no problems.
I would assume it's the same with Olds, but we all know what assuming does.

The booster itself should not matter. The proportioning valve is where a lot of the thinking is done in The brake system. Sometimes the master cylinder can change but usually for added capacity of fluid or different ratios of fluid.
