Parking Brake Release 82 Delta 88

Parking brake release handle , the wire end broke off the pull cable . I cannot find a new replacement after market one . Is there a new after market option ? or just used ones ? i think the part number is 555751 for a 1982 Delta 88

I got plenty of hits searching for "parking brake release handle." I don't think that's the correct number though.

Good used is your only option. These cars are not popular enough for manufacturers to warehouse replacements.

Olds 64 thanks for your time in research , yes i agree i get lots of hits as well . But all the hits i get are used ones or new old stock.
Thanks Joe i will stop looking for a company that makes new ones . There are some new old stock ones for sale with this part number 555751. If it's the right part number .
So we need to remove this part from cars that are being scraped .
Seeing that no one makes them , then someone might buy up all the ones for sale and then charge what ever they want !
Or someone could have a home business repairing broken ones .
My car was in storage for 20 years so this part did not last long .

555751 is the correct P/N for Olds RWD full size cars through 1990 (through 84 for Ninety Eights, 85 for D88s, and 90 for Custom Cruisers)
