Help me to find a master cylinder

Hi, I live in FRANCE and own a 1956 Super 88 olds and I need help.
I decided to upgrade the front brakes using a disc kit from Jamco Suspension and have to say it's a perfect fit.
My troubles started when I had to change the master cylinder: I bought a power booster kit with a master cylinder from Speedway and the master cylinder is too big (touching the left side frame).
My problem is that I can't find a narrow master cylinder that can be used with my brake booster and used for a front disc/rear drum setup.
I already asked Speedway for advices and they told me they had none to suggest for my needs so if someone can help me I would be greatfull.

suggest posting this on the "all 56 owners ck in" thread herein - may be a couple of guys on there that have done this - mine are all "stock" setups so I wouldn't be much help. I reasearched this at one time and happened on a Packard forum that discussed this pretty heavily as they used the same Treadle Vac system...maybe worth a Google search...hope you have some luck

A picture of which booster and M/C you have would be helpful. There are fairly small aluminum M/Cs available that use remote reservoirs, so they would be pretty narrow. It would help to see what's hitting, exactly.

There are a number of us on the site who have done the disc brake swap and all of us ended up deleting the drivers side airbox, installing a blank plate, then installing a firewall mounted booster and dual master cylinder. This required installing a swinging pedal as well. Nothing that we found would mount in the original location.

Check out the information in this thread https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...hialeah56.html

This one may help too - granted it's a Packard thread, but the setups are the same - not sure how the frames differ..

First thank you for your help.
Here is the link of the kit I bought from Speedway http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Dual-B...ombo,5084.html
And it's the anterior left side of the M/C which is touching the frame rail as it curves inward.
So if I could find a narrow M/C with remote reservoir, it should fit.
Otherwise I thought about modifying completely the brake pedal system. So if someone could tell me where to find one like the one in the thread https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...aleah56-2.html that would help. I also found some universal under dash pedal assembly (http://www.mbmbrakeboosters.com/pbon...emart&Itemid=6), would that fit?
Thanks again for the help

Don't forget to install a proportioning Valve as well, to balance the Disc and drum from each other...

There are a lot of street rod master cylinders with remote reservoirs. Here's one (pricey) example:
