front housing seal
I'm bleeding my new MC right now but I was wondering if I should lube the front housing seal on the booster (power cylinder) before bolting up the MC. The CSM doesn't mention it but I thought I would ask.

Not necessary. Make sure that boot is soft and not torn. Replace it if needed. Clean the boot and MC mating surfaces and bolt er up.

This bench bleeding takes a while, huh? Been at it for 25-ish minutes and still tiny bubbles.

Sometimes air will be drawn in around the cheap plastic fittings they give you to attach to the MC.

Nah, I finally got it. But only after dumping the fluid out and cleaning out the paint flecks three times. Why do they paint the inside orifices?
